Macbook to HDTV

Hi, i need some advice.. how can I connect my alu macbook to my hdtv? what cable produces best quality image? at a good price.. thank you

Ahh yes you can get audio. I did it on my MacBook and Mac Mini. All you need is a TV that allows you to have input and a AUX cable both males.

This is what I do, but with the mini-DVI to DVI, then a DVI-HDMI cable. For audio I use aux to a set of ipod speakers lol. Good enough for me! I could get a longer AUX cable though I guess to hook to the HDTV.

I have the same setup and get audio with a mini jack to RCA cable. The Apple Store has them for connecting iphones to a stereo.

my father got a VGA adapter, and an input to output audio jack.

if the monitor or lcd or whatever it is doesn't have sound input, then you should plug it into speakers, or you could just leave the speakers on the computer itself.

This is the exact setup I have on a 26" Visio LCD, works perfectly.
