Macbook Transfer

Whats the fastest way to transfer 40gigs of music videos and documents to my soon to be macbook?

any help is appreciated...

I used a network connection over wireless and just copied everything since I didn't have access to anything else (eg. external drive). It took ~1 hour to transfer my music (~12Gb) if I remember correctly, although that looks kind of slow, so maybe that wasn't it at all lol.

that does seem slow... i can't wait 4 hours lol .. ehhh i could do it while i sleep.... hmmm...

Well you do have a 30Gb iPod, which I presume has at least half of your music collection on it? You could use an iPod -> Mac transfer program and then copy the rest over wifi.
