I don't know why so many seem to struggle with the obvious and it must be an age thing.... (old folks!) LOL.
Baby is born, and before your know it, they have a tablet of some sort. In their mind, you touch the screen to make things happen.
Then as a Teenager (or younger) they get their first phone. Again, you touch the screen and things happen.
Then, as you get older, you get your Apple laptop.
Oh it's screen is dead.
What I've been doing from the age of perhaps 3 or 4 up till the age of 14/15? my whole life it to touch screens to make things happen.
Now, this no longer works and I have to use this silly old typewriter keyboard that was created around 1868 for the Qwerty layout.
How old and ancient a tech this is to me.
Sure, we won't use touch for everything, but it's prehistoric to think laptops should never have touch screens.
Many here over the years have expressed hatred for touch on laptops (because Apple does not make them of course LOL)
But just you wait....
5 or 10 years/generations of Apple Laptops with touch, and everyone will think it's crazy not to have it.... 🙂
And then, when you attempt to point out to them that 5 years ago said that touch on a laptop was an abomination and Apple should never do it.
They will wriggle out of admitting they were wrong and have changed their mind by saying:
"oh well that was because others have not implemented touch in the correct way, like Apple has"
It's so funny as you just know this is exactly how it's going to play out..... LOL
