Liquid spill on an A1278 MacBook Unibody 2.4GHz. Purchased "tested and
good" logic board with warranty and the MB was completely unresponsive. The
power adapter showed green but signs/sounds from HD and Optical Drive. Was going to "jump" pins 5&29 on keyboard connector to check top case but did not
want to void my warranty in case something went wrong. Instead, I bought a known good top case that, unfortunately, produced the same DOA condition. I
restore older PPC for a living and am pretty green on the Intel machines. I would surely appreciate any insight/ideas on what I may be missing.
