MacBook Update Interval?

How long is it between MacBook updates usually? What my plan is, is just save up money and by a new MacBook after the next revision(hopefully LED screens and Alum) May is the 6 month mark. So would we see an update, in like May-June-August time frame? I'm thinking June is probably more likely.
