Hey guys, my friend got a old MacBook that needs some upgrading.
I'm not sure what year model it is but it is 2.0GHz Duo Core with 2GB ram 1066.

But is it upgradable? (Or is the body sealed tight?)
And does anyone know what year model this is with a 2.0GHz Duo Core?

Can I buy this?

How fast will it run once installed a 8GB or maybe a 4GB?
Thanks!

Check out the iFixit wedsite to have a look to see what you need to do. They have good directions and photos for most Apple products and others as well.

FYI:
According to Mactracker anywhere from the Late (aluminum) 2008 Macbook to the Mid 2010 have a 1066 Mhz bus, but only the Late 08' and the Early 09' had a 2.0 Ghz CPU.

I have taken my Late 09' MacBook apart and upgraded the Ram and it was almost uneventful. Though one note... make sure you use the right tools.
