I have a white Macbook 13' It's an early 2008 model. The battery is completely gone in it. Over the last few months it hasn't been staying on without the charger, once the power cord was disconnected the laptop would immediately switch off. It needed the power cord in at all times to run. Now all of a sudden it won't turn on at all, there is no longer a green light on the charging cable or anything, the power block does still heat up though. Does this happen when the battery has completely given in, the laptop will not turn on at all?
