macbook white to macbook black

Is there any way of converting the macbooks from white to black? Just asking out of curiosity really surely there is a do it yourself casing out there.

Sure you can buy the black casing off ebay.

try using a can of paint and a roller. i did that to a beat-up old car once and it looked... well... it sorta looked better.

but it did change the color.

The only problem with this is that unless you are skilled it won't look great, and colouring the keyboard will be very difficult.

how old is it? They let me change mine a month after i bought an used it. If you call up the store and a talk to a manager, they can 'push the red button' and authorize your return.

I bought it on the online store so i cant exchange it in store 🙁 I thought it might be cheaper to change it mysef than paying the £100 ($200) black tax apple charge for the black version...
