Macbook - Wife dropped hers, Help pls

    Replace the LCD :eek:

    Even if you have Apple Care it won't be covered.

    You could probably find them cheapest on eBay.

    I just read another front page thread about some kid who fixed his screen. Ask him for help, and where he bought his. Good luck!

    I agree that eBay is the best source for replacement screens. Go to www.ifixit.com for replacement instructions.

    You might find a local computer shop willing to take it on, but they'll charge an arm and a leg. You can do this yourself, just be patient and read the instructions completely through and follow them carefully.

    applecomponents.com has been really helpful for parts - if it's not listed on his site, shoot him an email and he can usually round it up. Really reasonable prices, too.
