Hey guys,

Just bought a black macbook, and it does not seem the charge as it should.

It its asleep, on, off, does not make a difference. When you plug the magsafe charger in, it just flashes from Green to Orange all the time, and every 3 seconds or so in the top right of the screen (not charging) shows up then goes again. I had fiddled with it, and just cant get it to work.

If I take the battery out and use the charger that way it just stays on its green light.

The Battery is a brand new battery and there should not be anything wrong with it.

Any ideas?!

Many thanks.

I do not believe it is no. Its got a shiny finish rather then a matt finish like the rest of the case.

I had run "coconut battery" app and it says the battery is in good health.

Tried tweaking PRAM. If that doesn't help there is a chance your sleep switch is bad. But if it sleeps ok it's most likely either the battery or the logic board.
