    Hey guys,

Just bought a black macbook, and it does not seem the charge as it should.

It its asleep, on, off, does not make a difference. When you plug the magsafe charger in, it just flashes from Green to Orange all the time, and every 3 seconds or so in the top right of the screen (not charging) shows up then goes again. I had fiddled with it, and just cant get it to work.

If I take the battery out and use the charger that way it just stays on its green light.

The Battery is a brand new battery and there should not be anything wrong with it.

    Any ideas?!

    Many thanks.

I do not believe it is no. Its got a shiny finish rather then a matt finish like the rest of the case.

I had run "coconut battery" app and it says the battery is in good health.

    Tried that to no joy.

I have contacted the seller and I think they might replace the battery.

Do you think its the battery then rather then the laptop?

It's hard to tell, but the battery is the easiest thing to check right now ...

Tried tweaking PRAM. If that doesn't help there is a chance your sleep switch is bad. But if it sleeps ok it's most likely either the battery or the logic board.
