What's the wireless like on Macbooks? Does it work well? I thought I heard something about the wireless on MBP's being wacked out cause of the casing??
I've got a MBP and have had a MB. Both of them have been fine for me, and both are better than the G4 PB I used to have.
i have a macbook and the wireless is good i would say, ive had no problems. i have also herd about the casing on the mbp effecting its wireless but only by a bit....i think!
Wireless works very well on the Macbook for me. I've never had any problems with it. It is certainly easier than on my Compaq laptop w/ XP.
I have a MacBook Pro and the casing doesn't provide any problems for me. Wireless strength is great and range is great. Also streaming music wirelessly to my Airport Express works flawlessly too.
Great Wireless on a MacBook. Easy to set up (well, that really depends on the type of router). MUCH easier than a PC: My Dad has this Sony Laptop (that is soon going to be replaced by a new MacBook Pro!) before my new Macbook arrived he tried to connect to our wireless router but he couldn't. He had to connect to it with some sort of complicated menu with Codes, password...BLLUGGH! When My MacBook arrived I took it out of the box set my usernames and those sort of things, and during that proccess it said "a new network was found would you like to connect to it?" or something like that. I typed in the password and...uala! I had a wireless internet connection! [After a week my Dad still couldn't connect to it, so he took his computer to a specialist and they fixed the problem(it's just so complicated! I mean as apple say: you can use it straight out of the box.)]
