How to speed up CPU of macbook pro with 10.11 El Capitan.
Macbook is with no battery. In that case cpu works less than 50% of max frequency with sometimes 100 % CPU load? But is very slow, even youtube can't show video.
iStat shows CPU Core 0.8Volts and 3-5A, it's about 4 Watts on CPU. Max power of CPU is 35Watts.
How manually speed up frequency?

Or disable Intel SpeedStep technology?

A Mac with no battery will run at reduced power until it gets a battery. It uses the battery as a occasional power boost, so it slows everything down without a battery. It is a silly design.

What happens if you use it with the old battery?

Battery standed about a year fully charged with no use and self get out of macbook by becoming bigger.
[doublepost=1482174109][/doublepost]Ps. I checked the battery again. Sweet smell is out of the self disassembled battery.
I hope will not die from explosion of that gas))

A swelling battery can in fact be dangerous, you should get rid of it. And the MacBook is supposed to run slow with no battery. I'm not saying it's clever, but they made it that way. So unless you get a new one, there's nothing to be done.
