(I'm using the May 2009 Alu 13", 2.4ghz light up keyboard macbook)

I was using the mac earlier, but had to booth into windows for some things. Shut down OSX, booted into windows, then about half an hour later restarted the machine back to OSX.

Every time I boot I get this message in multiple languages:

"You need to restart your mac. Hold the power button until it turns off, then press the power button again"

So I booted from disk into Disk Utility and tried to verify permissions and verify disk. Bot passed no problems and said there wasn't anything to repair and the verifications passed.

Ive booted into windows the now, but I can't get into OSX at all. Any ideas?

Thanks.

aw man, I was hoping I wouldnt need to do that... in the middle of a big project.

Reinstalling OS X only takes about an hour and does not erase any data. You could try the other steps in that guide I linked but if you're in a hurry, I would just reinstall OS X right away to save time

Problem is I have Snow Leopard installed... But I don't have the disk anymore. I have the box!, just no disk!
