I already posted this question a while ago but water flew under the bridges and I read about new SSDs reaching the market and also about people who successfully upgraded their MBAirs with new storage at much cheaper prices than a few months ago.
I was wondering if the only viable solution without to incur compatibility issues is still the Trascend JetDrives or if things changed in the meantime.
I want to upgrade my son's 2015 13" MBA which came with only 128GB and even tho he says it's not necessary I know it is, he is a teen and I guess he would run out of space even with a 3TB drive so my goal is to get him a 256 at least, here in Italy the JetDrive 520 256GB goes for about 145 euros which is ok to a degree but still a lot compared to newer tech, with little more can get a regular 512GB so I am curious to hear from your experiences and knowledge.
Thank you
Giovanni
