The M2 MacBook Air only supports one external display.

Ok.
Tried connecting WD19 to my Mac. The Mac port is only functioning as Charging port and not displaying in monitors connected to the Docking station. Even the external monitors are not recognized by Mac under Display settings.
Any adapter or cable required for display through Docking station?

Is it a DisplayLink dock? If it is then it will support multiple monitors on a MacBook Air but you would need to go the DisplayLink website and download the software.

My Dell laptop gets connected to two monitors when connected through the Docking station. Same cable does not work for MacBook. It only charges the laptop.

As someone else pointed out, the M1/M2 MacBook Airs & 13" MacBook Pros do not support more than one external display natively. That is not related to the cable but is just the capability of the MacBooks.

You can use more than one display with DisplayLink technology. I think that Dell used to use USB docks that had DisplayLink but I don't think the WD19 uses it so if that is the case then you will not be able to use more than one display.

The docking station is of DELL only. My Mac is not even connecting to any monitor at all via this Docking station.
If I need to connect my Macbook Air M2 2022 to Dell P2422H ,what cable I should use?
Dell monitor has
  • DisplayPort
  • VGA
  • HDMI
  • USB 3.2 Gen 1 upstream
  • 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 downstream
Mac has
  • Two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports with support for:
    • Charging
    • DisplayPort
    • Thunderbolt 3 (up to 40Gb/s)
    • USB 4 (up to 40Gb/s)
    • USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10Gb/s)

I connect my Macbook Air m2 with Dell 27 inch monitor through DP-USB-C cable. Works fine.
