Hi all,
First I want to thank all the people on this forum, you have given me a lot of useful tips and information when trobleshooting and repairing Macs just by reading posts and threads here.
As the long title says, I've been trying to update my friend's MacBook Pro 6,2 using OCLP, installation goes well and the system loads, but once I install the Root Patches and reboot, it shows the Apple logo loading screen and once it's finished the login screen doesn't load, the screen just remainds black and backlighted.
Has anyone any idea of what the cause could be? I've removed and re-install the patches but the result is the same.
Big Sur is the msot recent OS that works, but I would like to have a working Mac OS 12 or newer.
