Uh-huh. Anybody would think you're trying to hide something. :p

Looks and sounds like I haven't missed much at Olympia, though... only got my own Mac up and running about an hour ago.

I didn't bother either. A combo of apathetic posts and the disappointment of Tottenham-Arsenal not being screened (WTF?) made me drop the whole idea of going.

Doesn't seem like much was missed.

You didn't miss too much with the game. :)

LOL. I heard we were poor in the first half, better in the second. Hardly the game of the century but surely more deserving for tv than Wigan-Fulham?

With the Expo, I figure I could go to the Apple Store in a week and see much of what would have been interesting at the show...

Did they have anything as interesting as the Quad PM G5 there or was it just iMacs, iPods and new PBs?

Nope, just a server demo.

In fact, Apple's presence was restricted to a row of grey kiosks in the centre of the room, and an Apple finance representative. There was no Apple store, so noone was walking out with a new Powerbook under their arms.

In fact, the only people selling iPod 5Gs were Micro Anvika (3rd party tech shop in London) who were doing them at standard retail price. They had some good deals on software though.

Well personally I found this year a bit lacking, at least from the Apple side. Bose put on an excellent show, as did many others, but overall it felt somewhat smaller than last year. I've dropped a few pics on my .mac webpage, and if you have a look at the previous year you'll see what I mean! (and yes I know there are few and the quality is bad but I only had my mobile phone with me this year..)
