The MacFreePops forum is down and I don't know for how long...

Anyone else not retrieving all their Hotmail mail using Mail.app (with MacFreePops)?

All my Gmail mail arrives but I've had days where no Hotmail mail appears and then I log onto my Hotmail account and actually I've had 30 emails waiting for me..

I have exactly the same problem.
    Could it be hotmail itself?

    ?

    I have the same problem.
It has always worked perfectly, but stopped working the other day.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet?
Is there another way I can get my hotmail in mail?
Have already tried httpmail, but doesn't work with my account.
Please let me know if you find a fix.

Replace the hotmail.lua with this in: ~/Library/Application Support/MacFreePOPs/src/lua

For good measure put it in 'lua_updates' and 'lua_unoffical' too.

Credit goes to tisazalay of the FreePOPs Forum.

    Still No Go

I have replaced the file suggested and am still unable to receive any hotmail mail. Is it gone for good now? I can't seem to find anyone with a fix that works. :S

Does all this work for MSN mail as well? I'm actually about to setup my grandfather on a mac and he's used MSN email for years. I'd really like to get him setup in mail instead of through the internet every time, but so far I haven't had much look with hope that it's possible. Anyone weighing in gets 20 cool points.
