How nice is AccountEdge Pro to use these days? I tried it a few years ago and it was really annoying and frustrating to use, and too much like a Windows app. In fact, if you go to their website you will see nothing but Windows screenshots. Not so good of a deal if you're going to spend hundreds next year on the 2015 version.

Screenflow

Yes I got it as well. They didn't email it. (don't know if they will) I went to the order page linked in my receipt email. It should start with macheist.com/order/ada/....
It as well as the Xojo promo code are listed there

ScreenFlow version

To anyone who purchased this....

What version of ScreenFlow are they giving away? I have v.3, but really want version 4.

Thanks! :)

Having an issue.

Is it possible to install the programs on multiple macs?

My new iMac arriving in few days so want the programs for that or can i just download the software a week later??

Yes. But at least ScreenFlow has a license scheme that only lets it run on a single system without transferring the license key (which is easy to do). I haven't had the time to delve into some of the other high end programs to see if they work the same.

Edited: Toon Boom Studio works the same way. MacJournal and Scapple are OK on multiple systems. Xojo as well but the license is only good for 1 year and renewal is $150/yr. I'm crossing it off my list!

No, the Xojo license does not expire, what expires is the possibility to download any further updates, but you still can use the version you have.

That's not the way I read it. The license says it enables building stand-alone apps and saving in XML or Text project formats. It appears that you can always download updates since the program is otherwise free to obtain and use. And when I look at my license it says it expires 4/8/15, so it would appear that after that date I could no longer build a stand-alone app.

It also says that this is a new license model. Perhaps the "old" license works they way you state?

I guess they aren't really clear on their website. The license enables building and saving in XML/version control format. Without the license you may run your project from the IDE (but not build a stand-alone app) and save in single-file binary format (but not in the version-control friendly one). When your license is valid (so, until 4/8/15) you may download and use any updates they release. After that you stay with what you already have: no further updates. But you can still build! I am 100% sure about this, others say the same:

So, you're right: you may always download an update, even after your license expires - but you will not be able to build with it. To build, you would have to use any previous version from the period when your license was valid.

Looks like you can build and run from the IDE. And you never have to buy the product to do that (it's free). What you cannot do is build a standalone application, which you need to do to distribute or sell your application, unless you have a currently valid license. The product used to have a different license structure, which I don't know anything about, but I expect works like you suggest. The current license model allows people to play with Xojo for free and only pay if they decide to distribute.

Anyway, it would be pretty easy to verify. Remove the license and see what it does!

Is anyone having problems with the purchase site (https://secure.macheist.com/buy) not being secure?

No lock icon in Safari, Chrome informs me insecure content was being loaded. Don't like entering payment details to such a site since it's basically sending my card & address details etc. in the clear.

Error states the certificate for "live.macheist.com.s3.amazonaws.com” is invalid.

Pity, as I'd really like to pick up this bundle for Toon Boom Studio.

This is my second BoinxTV license. I wanted Screenflow for $19.99

Hi, I got my mac last week and i was late to hear about this bundle sale.
I'm interested in Xojo Desktop. So is there anybody who will not use it and transfer his license to me ?

Thanks...
