I have both a unibody macbook and a unibody imac. Snow leopard is on the macbook and leopard on the imac. I have just been feeling the speed of applications opening and processes taking longer than usual. Is this normal, or could it be related to some simple problem? Also, on the macbook, downloaded video podcasts have become unwatchable in itunes due to lag, but play fine in quick look.

I usually just repair permissions in disk utility and it helps speed things up. :D
