Macintosh 128k RAM replacement - getting worse

I inherited this Macintosh 128k -- originally showing error code 040041. I ended up replacing all the RAM chips and putting them into sockets. I used a desoldering gun and a Quick 857DW hot air rework station to pull the chips off.

Unfortunately, now the screen is scrambled with garbage but it looks like it's trying to display a sad mac with an error code (which I can't decipher). It makes a sound like it is trying to play the startup chime but sounds more like a groan. I purchased the RAM from Jameco and they sent RAM from two different manufacturers. Does this impact anything enough?

Can anyone suggest next steps for trying to repair this? I feel horrible trying to save this mac and instead made it worse :/

Not really relevant but the floppy drive has seized and I can't remove the disk.

It looks like it's trying to display a sad mac and the startup chime sounds like a screech instead.

It sounds like a similar situation to this post from @Joe_D however it looks like the youtube videos don't exist anymore.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!
