Macintosh Classic

I took my Macintosh Classic apart and I have a "left over" 😡 No idea where to put it back. I had the hard drive out and this (see picture) fell on the ground? WTF? 😕

Part of the CRT? What diameter is it?

Tried to duplicate something that diameter with a keyboard in the background, since the CRT neck is about the diameter of a US nickel, that's way too small compared to that object.

I suspect the post is a troll.
