Just noticed the site was updated, and this has to be the first time I’ve seen a site allow http connections when before they were enforcing TLS 1.0 (they seem to not allow TLS 1.0 connections anymore but that’s not really a big deal now).

I've always been able to access the Garden from Classilla. I don't think it's new.
Also, the macintoshgarden clone, "Macintosh Repository" which I only use as a second resort when I can't find something on the garden, will actually disable SSL/TLS if it detects you're running on a PPC mac.

I can access the Garden from Classilla most times, but sometimes there's an odd day when it'll throw the "No common encryption algorithms" error or lock up the browser

This whole security issue is why OS 9 is having issues - the OS can do it, just need to add them in. Frankly, no reason for https unless it’s a bank or site asking fir cc info.

I may get the source code and pay someone to finish Kaisers work to get classila to render sites correctly. Sick of https - Wikipedia ? Really need https for that ??? I want to use OS 9 again on my Pismo G4.

On OS 9, I use either Netscape 4.x or Classilla and Macintosh Garden works on both. On my Centris 650 running System 7, I use Netscape 4.08 and Macintosh Garden works with that. I like downloading directly onto the Mac I intend to use the software with when I can.
