Macintosh HD has Hidden Partition?

    Today I looked at my Disk Utility and realized my Macintosh HD has 2 partitions. Not the acutal Hard drive but the macintosh hd one and I have no option to delete the other partition that is why i say its hidden. Its taking up about 90 GB of space!!! How do i delete it help please!!!!!

    If it's 90GB it certainly wouldn't be the recovery partition.

    Oh okay it wont happen again. but thats what im mystified about it dosent have a name and it dosent show up. i just click info for my Macintosh HD and it says i have 2 partitions???

    Could this be a pre-owned Mac that previously had Boot Camp Windows on it?

    This is not a pre-owned but I did have a Windows partition but deleted it.

    Sounds like it could have been the windows partition but was deleted incorrectly or incompletely. Don't know how to recover it though.

    I ended up just erasing my hard drive and this solved the problem. Thanks though.
