Macintosh HD symbol keeps moving

hi guys,

my macintosh hd symbol on the desktop always seems to move away from the top right corner after every re-start,

i know it can be fixed by arranging all symbols alphabetically, but that is not what i really want.

does anybody know the solution to this problem?

As far as I know, the Mac HD icon always stays in the top right corner by default.

I mentioned this in another thread recently.

Go to Finder->View options and check Snap to Grid.

It will always find itself pushed back to a certain place.

Plus choosing view by size or name if you have more than 1 hd will put the drives in order.
