Mackbook pro Can I delete help

I need to know the reason why I have duplicate files when I go and get info it tells me that one is a hidden extension and the other not ,it is a golden box as you get when you are to upgrade or install something can I delete ...
thank you what would be the rule if I run mackeper and shows two extension or files one smaller than the other how I know what to delete

deleting any file when you don't know what it is for is asking for trouble. It's very complicated trying to figure out what to delete and what to keep.
