You are hopeless. As mentioned, go ahead and use it. I don't care if it's featured in Times or BBC or whatever. You can go ahead and use it but to others... DON'T USE IT.
Yes I have a different opinion than you so get over it. I see that others on another form also have not had issues with Mackeeper.

Yeah. It's feature in this and that...blablabla... I've said it again and again....just use it... darn it. Makes no difference if you want to use it. I am supporting you to continue using it. No one here is stopping you.

I had installed Chrome and after I did I received ad malware. Mackeeper was one worst adware I ever had. I tried it many years ago and found it useless.
How much are you getting payed from MacKeeper to start topics like this everywhere?

More and more, this thread seems to qualify as trolling. Whether you had issues with the app or not, doesn't contradicts the overwhelming amount of evidence and articles that show that this app is basically useless and annoying.

Like previous posters said: look up MalwareBytes. This app is free and is very good at virus is protection (not that you really need it for OS X). If there are other things you use MacKeeper for, I'm sure Onyx can do it better. It is a maintenance app that correct hard drive related issues.

This is a lie from the pit of Hell. But no matter nothing I say will convince this poster and others of this mindset. Regardless I only use MacKeeper for one thing and that is for Internet Security. When the time comes for my subscription renewal I may not renew but may invest in other software that I was not aware of.
100% correct. OP starts these threads all over MacRumors, gets people riled-up, then disappears.
