Which you get for free, and better, with MWB & Sophos/Avast anyway. So the absolute best case, you're paying for software you don't need to. Worst case, it's as bad as we're all saying.
I'll leave it at that now.
I was not aware of this software.

You know that MacWorld featured MacKeeper?
You are hopeless. As mentioned, go ahead and use it. I don't care if it's featured in Times or BBC or whatever. You can go ahead and use it but to others... DON'T USE IT.
Yeah. It's feature in this and that...blablabla... I've said it again and again....just use it... darn it. Makes no difference if you want to use it. I am supporting you to continue using it. No one here is stopping you.Yes I have a different opinion than you so get over it. I see that others on another form also have not had issues with Mackeeper.
Hahaha. What a riot. You STARTED this thread with the request that responders use FACTS NOT OPINIONS, and many gave you article after article after article telling you EXACTLY why you SHOULDNT use this program.Yes I have a different opinion than you so get over it. I see that others on another form also have not had issues with Mackeeper.
I use it for Malaware then and not viruses.sorry my mistake.

I don't think so. I honestly wanted to know what is so bad about MacKeeper.
But so far and from also looking on another forum the experience of MacKeeper varies from person to person. There we're people in the other forum who hated MacKeeper and others who have never had a problem with it(like me). So what is so bad about MacKeeper?

Now, you're response is "I have a different opinion/experience"?!?!?!?
What is your problem?
Incorrect. I'm looking for your yes's to be yes and your no's to be no, but I guess that's too much to ask.You are looking for a fight and I am not interested in one so goodbye.
C'mon... do any of you actually expect anything intelligent out of this dude?
You're effectively trying to talk a rich, white, 65 year old die-hard Republican into gun control and pro-choice at the same time. He's just arguing for argument's sake now, and nothing we say is going to move him from the "that's your opinion" responses.
More and more, this thread seems to qualify as trolling. Whether you had issues with the app or not, doesn't contradicts the overwhelming amount of evidence and articles that show that this app is basically useless and annoying.
We've given you reasons, yet you argued with them. What is the point of having this thread if you are going to argue with the people who are trying to help you out?
Like previous posters said: look up MalwareBytes. This app is free and is very good at virus is protection (not that you really need it for OS X). If there are other things you use MacKeeper for, I'm sure Onyx can do it better. It is a maintenance app that correct hard drive related issues.
Agreed. This thread seems only meant to troll.

100% correct. OP starts these threads all over MacRumors, gets people riled-up, then disappears.
If you got all that you needed from this thread and have no further questions, might I suggest that you mark this thread as 'resolved' to let people know that there is no need for more replies or arguments.Lies......
