So I've narrowed down my choices to these to audio interfaces- Mackie Producer 2.2 and the Steinberg UR22 mkii. From watching videos and reviews both seem to be good for my needs to do vlogging. Does anyone have any experience with these and what they liked or didn't like? I am going to be using a Rode NT-1 for a mic. Also, it's going to be plugged into an 2017 iMac.

Also, I know the Steinberg can be hooked up to use on an iPad. Can the Mackie be hooked up to use on an iPad as well? If so, what cables do I need?

Thanks.
Karen

My preference would be for the Steinberg due to the fact that you get a copy of Cubase with it (my favorite audio production application), and the Steinberg hardware integrates seamlessly with the Cubase software...

I've used Cubase before, though it's been about 10 years. From what I remember it was good. I have Logic now and will be using that.

I think I am going to try both out and then pick the one that sounds/works the best for my needs. I am a little more partial to Mackie as I have used their Mixers and they were awesome! Great build quality with them. But the Steinberg also gets good reviews as well.
