^^^ Ditto

As for myself, I start getting excited when the 'deals' are getting close to around 20% off and more, whatever it is: new, refurbs, educational discounts, last year models, don't really care as long as it is the model I'm looking for... You can find those online if you are patient;)

They really might ought to be more specific than "midnight Friday," as that would be Thursday night, which probably isn't what they have in mind.

I'm curious about your comment. How did you come to this understanding.

I would think that if I said "I'll see you on Friday at midnight" It would be clear that I meant Friday night.

Actually, "midnight Friday" will be at 12:00 am on Friday, which is Friday morning. But that is not what was meant when the phrase was used.

Well that kills it for me. They are listed as charging sales tax (5%) for Wisconsin residents even though they are out of state. Charging me $30 tax on a Mac Mini and then giving me $25 back when I can pay the tax locally at BB and get $30 worth of reward zone credits is no deal.. I'm back to hoping for a deal from Apple but not holding my breath.

Update. I pulled the trigger on the Amazon deal with $25 off and no tax to pay.
also got an 8GB Ram kit for $34 to go with it. I took the free shipping which is not fast but is free and usually gets to me in a week. I can wait. :D
