I came to the conclusion to swap the old MacMini from 2010 to the 2014 one which got upgraded by a Studio, the 2014 one has a 1TB storage and 16GB RAM vs 320 and 4 of the older one, I do usually listen to non compressed music through a dedicated DAC then a vintage hifi system, I then stream movies from a NAS into a AppleTV through Infuse but if I could use the newer Mini for it all I'd love to have it all on a single machine and leave the NAS to its own job.

At this moment in time I use an old version of Audirvana on the Mini with the iOS app, arrange playlists through a remote session so I work directly onto the Mini but it all is very frustrating and time consuming, if you have any suggestions for a smoother way to turn the Mini into a music and video server I'd really appreciate

Thank you
