    Hi,
I recently bought a MacMini for use as a hidef video source for my TV. Does anyone know if apple's $2 802.11n upgrade will work on it? I'm about to rsync my movie collection, and it'd be great if it didn't take days!

    Cheers...

    Tom

    No, it won't.

These Macs have the 802.11n hardware built-in:
    • MacBook Pro with Intel Core 2 Duo
    • MacBook with Intel Core 2 Duo
    • Mac Pro with AirPort Extreme option
    • iMac with Intel Core 2 Duo (except the 17-inch, 1.83GHz iMac)

This data is direct from Apple

I bought the new AEBSn and it's sitting on top of my Mini. I have a short ethernet cable connected to it, thus syncing to my Apple TV is 'n' speed.
