Hello,
I wanted to know what are your system predictions for macOS 10.14 and iOS 12…Just for one and when it'll be released we'll see who was right.
I am sorry if that thread already exists, but I just read macOS 10.13 system predictions and for me it was kinda fun to read.:)

  • iMac: late 2009 or newer
  • MacBook: late 2009 or newer
  • MacBook Pro: mid-2010 or newer
  • MacBook Air late 2010 or newer
  • Mac Mini mid-2010 or newer
  • Mac Pro mid-2010 or newer
  • iMac Pro: 2017
Why that list? I believe Apple will support the current computers that are supported and macOS 10.14 will be the last release to support MacBook Pro (mid 2010) and MacBook (late 2009) and it'll be the last release to support the older hardware. Why? Because Apple has supported the older Macs from Mountain Lion to El Capitan for awhile and even that was unexpected. There's 50% chance that macOS 10.14 won't support older Macs because 32 bit apps will be unsupported, however I believe it'll be very easy to install macOS 10.14 on unsupported computers.

I believe that iPhone 5s will receive iOS 12. Why? Because my iPhone 5s runs iOS 11 pretty well. It's still fast and the battery health is quite good. My iPhone 5s boots up almost as fast as the iPhone 6 and iPhone SE (I tested it) and the reviews you see on YouTube are because iPhone 5s has usually old batteries. My iPhone 5s is two years old and it still runs better than iOS 7 did on iPhone 4 and iOS 9 on iPhone 4s, so I believe iOS 12 will be supported as well even though it'll be the last release.

What do you think? How unrealistic are my predictions?
