I am waiting for the 10.15.5 combo update to be released. I don't see it yet on the Apple Support download page.

Noticed right away that 10.15.5 managed to unlock System Preferences > Users & Groups and turned on the Guest account for login on the first reboot after installation. Not a good start to this update.

Same with me and it defaulted my machine hostname to “iMac”

I just updated to Catalina 10.15.5 and Battery Health is missing from energy saver. I have late 2013 15" rMBP. Am I the only one? I can't find anything about it. I restarted and did everything. It's so weird.

I thought that feature was just enabled for very recent models?

Where does it say that? There is no mention of that in Apple's own article: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211094
Also macrumors said this:
"The Battery Health Management feature is new in the second ‌macOS Catalina‌ 10.15.5 beta and is limited to developers at the current time. It will be available to all users when ‌macOS Catalina‌ 10.15.5 is released."

Be careful! My 2019 15inch is completely DOA after downloading the updating and clicking install / reboot!

Where does it say that? I was actually searching if this was only for newer macbook pros, but I can't find it anywhere.
Sorry, I don't remember where I saw that (well, or even IF I saw it)... I just vaguely recall seeing something about it somewhere.

i've gone thru my system preferences on both of my macs, and nothing's changed. i updated from the beta.. maybe this has some effect? so far, am not seeing any tangible differences...

"The feature will apply to any MacBook that supports Thunderbolt 3 i.e. all MacBook Pro models since 2016 and all MacBook Airs since 2018."
