Since I updated to macOS 13.5.1 I have started to experience I bug where I lose connectivity to the internet every once in a while. It happens regardless of whether I am using WiFi or wired connection. Restarting my MacBook Pro restores my internet access. Anyone with a similar problem?

How are you determining loss of connectivity? Web pages won’t load? Streaming music or video stops playing midstream?

Cannot load any page in Safari. Cannot stream Apple Music. Cannot load/send emails. Cannot update weather etc.

How are you providing the wired connection to the MBP? Are the wireless and wired connections active at the same time?

Seems unlikely to be MacOS 13.5.1 itself, many of us, me included, have a very solid connection with 13.5.1. If the MacOS update is a factor at all, it would seem likely to be some interaction with any 3rd party software and/or your router/access setup.

I have a OWC dock connected to my ethernet. Wifi active at the same time. Have been using this setup for years, no issues.

I agree. I will try to troubleshoot my 3rd party apps.

Third-party apps that could interfere with your Internet connection are VPNs and firewalls. Do you have any installed?

iCloud Private Relay is usually the culprit for Internet problems since Monterey https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212614

Another potential cause are DNS servers pushed by ISPs.
You can try other DNS servers
DNS settings https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/change-dns-settings-network-preferences-mac-mh14127/mac
public DNS Servers
Cloudflare
1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1
Google
8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4
OpenDNS
208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220

I just did the update on my MacBook Pro M1 and now it can see anything on my network let alone the internet.

I think the iCloud Relay is the pain in the butt here because I had this problem before. Although this time I can't even access the iCloud Menu in settings, it's just stuck. I even booted in safe mode and that didn't work. Curious if anyone has any ideas on how to resolve this.

Thanks
