I've been seeing an issue while an App is in Full Screen where it seems like my Mouse Cursor or something is somehow bumping up towards the top causing the Menu Bar to show, but I'm not doing anything with the Mouse to make this happen.. It's just happening. Was really hoping for the .pkg file to make a USB Installer and try a clean install that way as opposed to DFU mode (it's a 2018 Intel Mac mini).. Oh well.. Only another day or so.
On my MBP 16'' M2 Pro, it was a ~2 GB update from RC1 to RC2.
I've noticed some slight graphical weirdnesses, like things being blank when returning to a window, which then re-render when I scroll or whatever. Not often, just occasionally. Also, I have a pretty long note in Notes, and scrolling it is weirdly janky, like it doesn't want to let me scroll, and sort of jumps back sometimes.
The dock set to auto hide will sometimes stop showing up. Happened to me twice, both after unplugging the device from an external monitor. Running this in Terminal temporarily fixes it:
Im finding Sonoma RC2 to be much more....efficient with "system data" storage size, its not growing to anywhere near the same extent as it was on venture and is staying at less than 4gb regardless what im doing. I dont use TM so im not generating lots of snapshots either.
