Macos 14 system requirements

Hi guys what do you think the cut offs for this years version of macos will be i think the macbooks will loose support the mac mini i think will be m1 or newer and the rest i think will be 2018 or newer. What are your guy’s thoughts
 
I think it's going to be 2019 16" and later MacBook Pro, 2020 Intel and later MBA, 2019 Mac Pro, 2019 iMac and later, 2018 Mac mini and later, and of course the Mac Studio 2022. The 12-inch MacBook will be completely killed off.

I feel like I might be missing one, maybe?

Yet Apple did this with the Apple Watch Series 3, the last iPod touch, and the the 2013 Mac Pro, so it's not without precedent. I do think the 2018 model computers will get at least another year, though.

The 2013 MacPro was discontinued 2019 and dropped from Ventura in 2022, similar to the last G5 PowerMacs which were discontinued 2006 and dropped from Snow Leopard 2009.

I'll predict the 21.5" 2017 iMac, discontinued 2021, isn't going to be dropped until 2024. With the 2017 iMac still supported everything else (except maybe the 2017 Macbook) will probably also still be supported.
