Release date is confirmed. Marking my calendar for the 14th. 🙂

The "Command lines tools" package is not needed if Xcode is installed. But Homebrew is kinda weird and requires it, so the worst one here is Homebrew.
Saying Homebrew is "the worst one" because it uses Command Line Tools to do what it does, doesn't make it the worst LOL

For people on MacBooks:
Does this bug (battery percentage spikes while asleep) still happen in Activity Monitor?

Can you not select a range of files in Finder's list view anymore by clicking and dragging the empty area to the left of an icon ?!

It now acts as if you had dragged the icon instead. Hoping this is just a bug and not something they changed deliberately. See the third way that is shown here:

edit: Very rarely, it actually works as expected, so either way it's buggy.

I used to disable font smoothing completely to avoid headaches. It worked fine under the different betas, but the RC brings fuzzy fonts back. I've checked the font smoothing status, tried a bunch of commands and reboots, it's like the system just ignores the setting. Anyone else in the same boat?
