Currently on Tahoe, brand new air, and system data will swell to 70+ gb, but if you start it in safe mode and then restart the mac, boom 70gb gone.

Anyone who knows what I’m talking about know if they’ve seen the same on 27?

I had a bunch of time machine snapshots taking up all the free space on my Mac after installing beta 3 and waiting a day or so. Used DaisyDisk to identify them, which helpfully also provides a list of commands to run to delete all the snapshots and reclaim the space. It hasn't happened again (so far).
