I just installed the latest software update, and while the release notes mention the XDR display and 16" MacBook Pro, I am wondering if anyone has noticed any changes for Mac Pro, as well.

None whatsoever that I have found as yet. However, the install did take a very long time for a 'point' update & so I suspect that much was going on 'under the hood', possibly firmware update given the re-booting and faffing about that was going on. I did two update installs: one for the 2TB Apple primary boot & another for my 256GB Alt Boot NVMe. Both the same.

If this is anything like similar updates in the past, perhaps 10.15.3 might set the stage for other App store updates in the near future, eg, FCPX, Pro Apps support updates, Logic etc? We'll see.

Edit: also see https://eclecticlight.co/2020/01/29/what-changed-in-the-catalina-10-15-3-update/

Not mentioned was that the constant trustd process crashes were resovled with 10.15.3 update.

man trustd

trustd(8) BSD System Manager's Manual trustd(8)

NAME
trustd -- Daemon and LaunchAgent that performs trust evaluations

SYNOPSIS
trustd

DESCRIPTION
trustd provides services for evaluating trust in certificates for all processes on the system.
This command is not intended to be invoked directly.

Bad news: Low 5700xt Geekbench compute scores unchanged for me.

Good news: I can boot with at least 1 display connected to the 5700xt now. 10.15.2 hung at the Apple screen if I did that.

It sounds like these issues might be why the W5700X is not yet available.
