SoundSource version 6.1.2 works well on Golden Gate beta 8

They’d probably like a comparison of these to understand the right fit for their hardware within the memory constraints.

Personally? Golden Gate is doing great, I’m not really in position to compare 8-16 GB memory performance for it, but the overall efficiency is noticeably better on my MBP M4 Max (16/40) with 64 GB memory.
I’d say Golden Gate performs better than both Sequoia and Tahoe on my configuration for general use, gaming, and software engineering.
Given identical use case, how does memory usage compare across all 3? And given identical memory usage, how does memory pressure compare?

Did you have AI on/off in both cases and does that affect memory usage and pressure across all 3?

Petty much same from my experience.
I’ve seen everybody say it’s worse on Tahoe than Sequoia. And in my personal experience I owned two M1 8gigs. Tahoe was unusable. Sequoia again now, and it is perfect. No issues at all.
