The Beta has been installed and running smoothly on all the machines I've tried it. Let's hope for the Beta 2, too.

If you can’t change you Siri beta voice/ tone/pace sliders on iOS27 you can make the changes in Golden Gate and they carry over to the phone.

I've been having intermittent issues with my Message conversations with automated SMS messages disappearing. However, I do know that Verizon (my provider) is also updating their services for RCS so I'm guessing that has more to do with it. Otherwise, beta has been stable for me.

I was hoping it would fix this

Image playground is much better, moving objects and recreating them to better view is awesome,
object removing feature is really impressive, helpfull on many photos,

system is more fluid

AI Siri - still on waiting list
Enter this in terminal and then reboot. You will skip the entire waiting list. You’re welcome 😎

sudo defaults write "/Library/Preferences/FeatureFlags/Domain/GenerativeModels.plist" "EnhancedSiriWaitlist" -dict-add Enabled -bool NO

Menu bar icons are doing a Mexican wave dance when using an external display and clicking back to the laptop screen, and vice versa.

Is that a new beta of Parallels or just the older 26 version?
It's the public version of Parallels. There was an update released today, but nothing to fix bugs in macOS 27 beta. It's the only bug I've come across with Parallels, which is quite impressive for early betas.

Same with the full installer...
I had a weird issue with a previous OS update with this "personalize" issue, after several OTA and USB Installer attempts, it booted me to Recovery and asked for my Recovery Key. I thought I had it saved in 1Password, but that Key didn't work. I looked through keys in saved photos (various computers over the last two years) and none worked.

System Settings>Privacy & Security>FileVault and "Show" Recovery Key. Make sure you have that saved. Probably a good idea for everyone to go make sure they have that info saved as you never know when you might need it and you might not have it saved where you can get it. ::yikes::

Might be a good idea to reset the Key anyway as I am quite certain I was entering the correct key. And obviously something is not right as you are getting that "personalize" error... .

I did have to do a Time Machine restore, hadn't done that in a very long time and was pleased how well it worked with my Tahoe 26.5.1 backup to the Recovery reinstall of 26.5.1.

good luck! and I hope it installs for you without going to the recovery reinstall.

My experience trying betas in the past have been that they're fun but buggy experiences certainly not ready for a daily driver.

This time it's been comparatively smooth. I forget I run a beta on my macbook. It just looks better.

Fixed the issue with right click on menu bar and also broken preview pane in Finder. Although I still cannot ‘pick’ names from other files (by clicking on them) when trying to save a new file
