I posted on here the other week about Mac OS (or possibly Firefox) replacing quotation marks with & quot, now it's started replacing apostrophes with a space.

I've noticed if I use eBay messaging or Gumtree messaging this is happening, I type apostrophe, and when I look back they are all spaces and it looks like I'm talking gibberish.

I've replied to myself on eBay with my second eBay account signed into eBay with Safari and that's doing it too.

For example, I write it's, and it gets changed to it s

Has anyone noticed this because I am struggling to communicate normally with my MacBook (MacBook Air M1, running Sonoma 14.6.1, UK keyboard).

So far Gumtree, eBay, Safari and Firefox all seem to be affected. I can reply normally on Gumtree and eBay with my (Android) phone.
