Hi i have a mac and I’d like to purchase a standalone no subscription Adobe photoshop and MS Office.

Can anyone guide me to the best n cheapest versions without subscription? Which place too! Thanks!

Adobe stopped selling non-subscription versions of its software a while ago. You might instead be interested in Affinity Photo on the Mac App Store, which is a great Photoshop alternative at a fixed price. I switched to it because I don’t use Photoshop enough to justify the monthly price, and the huge amount of Creative Cloud background processes were annoying me and wasting my battery life.

Microsoft still sells Office on an up-front basis through their own online store and through retailers. But you will not receive an upgrade to the next version of Office when it comes, i.e. you’re buying Office 2016 only.

Beware of suspiciously cheap offers, especially on eBay. These aren’t legitimate no matter what the seller says. Now, you might not care about that (fair enough), but you may find that in a few months’ time it stops working and suddenly it’s less of a bargain than it seemed.

Hello,
you can purchase Microsoft Office from Microsoft. Please choose "one-time purchase"
Office Home & Student - https://products.office.com/en-us/b...oducts-for-mac?ms.officeurl=mac-compare-redir

You can find Adobe Creative Suite from places like eBay, but these are a bit pricey. (about $1000).
I'd recommend you to switch as well and look for other alternatives.

Photoshop Elements and Lightroom both have non-subscription options.

Member "Brookzy" advice is spot on. Affinity Photo is a great app and much less costly than Photoshop. As for MS Office 2016, you can find the stand alone version on sale from legitimate sellers. The only thing you will receive is the key card with the serial number on it. You then will have to download Office 2016 from MS using the key card serial number. And like you've been told, the next version of Office (Office 2018, 2019?) will have to be purchased. Office 365 subscribers will get the update as long as they're subscribed.

Another recommendation here for Affinity Photo. I was a Photoshop user since 1994 but recently switched - the subscription model is not for me. Unless you work somewhere that dictates you MUST use Photoshop, Affinity is a no-brainer. Pair it with the $20 iPad version and you have an incredible cross-platform solution. Ridiculous value for money.

Also, unless your needs for MS Office are complex, give LibreOffice a spin. It’s very full-featured and free.

Thanks guys I bought ms office 2016 and will check out affinity

There is On1. No, I don't work for them and actually still use LR for my cataloging. On1 is working on a project system that is supposed to be part of their next big update in the next 2 months (hopefully).

I've stared looking at On1 because I'm not happy with Adobe or their direction.
