Latest beta 4 has disabled the Thunderbolt port for HP monitor U28
HDMI output is sketchy too.

In the /System/Library/CoreServices/Applications folder, right-click the Keychain.app and create an alias. It will create an alias and should save it onto your Desktop. Move the alias into your /Applications folder or wherever you like if you don't want it in your Dock.

Note, it still won't show in Launchpad if you use that.
Thanks

I think i'm screwed. I tried to go from Sonoma to Sequoia and got stuck in between probably due to impatience. It froze on restart during the installation... I tried to do a safe start but that option didn't present so I used the "reinstall Sequoia" option which said I need 17.9 Gig more space to finish the install... only I can't get there from here, to clean the disc of excess I need to return to Sonoma which seems to be gone.

I had major wifi issues in the last build, this one seems to have fixed it!

im on a U32 over thunderbolt with no issues on beta 4 on my Mac mini M2.
Thanks for that. Have read multiple accounts where usbc output has been affected in recent days.

USB via hdmi converter still works with U28

The thot plickens

Hi, is there an automatic dark mode for icons in macOS now too?

I wonder because there is always one icon getting dark, it's the App Permute and it doesn't have anything in its settings to change the icon or this behavior.

I noticed this a while ago. Don't know if it had been before 15.1. At the same time in the Application folder or the "Grid" view of it in the Dock it's always the standard brighter icon.

It's the Setapp folder in this case. Looks like this in Dark Mode.

Tried via the command line too:

For me that told me it was restarting but didn't.

Does anyone here testing 15.1 beta have a 2.5GB RJ45 to USB-C/TB connector, for Ethernet access to your laptop/computer, AND have 2GB d/l speeds or higher?

I found this broke in 15.0 - instead of 2200-2300 Mb/s download speeds, it gets 1800-1900. It's been tested with both an Anker and Belkin adapter, both with Realtek drivers. It worked in MacOS 14.x, and it works with 15.0 using a higher capability 10GbE adapter.

If you do have this set up and it works or does not, can you post here plus look at your Mac's System Information/Hardware/Ethernet and see if it's using a Realtek driver? Thanks!
