(If you are encountering any issues, please press "Edit" on the bottom of this post and add it here)

Remaining Issues

  • Alarms may not play when your display is asleep for a long period of time (FB10086690)
    • Workaround: Make your display not fall asleep in Settings > Lock Screen > Turn display off on ____ when inactive. You can turn your brightness off.
    • Issue present since macOS 13.0

Untested Issues

  • "Legacy Extensions" will be incompatible with future versions (HP and Canon)

Additional Notes
  • Please know, Memory Management has always been an issue on any OS (not just Apple's). If you believe there is a Memory Leak, please go to the Apple Menu > Restart > Restart to fix it.
  • When a new macOS release comes out, all issues automatically go to "Untested Issues" until they are moved by someone. Issues that stay in Untested for 3 releases (beta or smooth) will be removed from all future threads. When there is a new macOS release, please be sure to let us know about the issue's status by moving it to either "Remaining Issues" or "Resolved Issues"
  • macOS 15 Sequoia will be installed via a Delta Update in System Settings. Please be aware about this and the update won’t install with an installer.
  • macOS 15 is officially supported on the following devices. If your device is not listed below, it has unfortunately been dropped by Apple. Any efforts of trying to get your Mac running macOS 15, including bugs should be discussed in this thread.

Installed on my M1 Mac Studio. Haven't noticed any issues (or anything different). I did get the same popups as iPhone (when opening email it asked about the AI integration), but none of it seems to be working.

Can't complain otherwise, everything is otherwise working as it did previously.

Installed on my M1 Max MBP. Safari summaries seems to take a while to work, if it works at all but the install went fine and no other issues. Apple Intelligence activated immediately after I toggled it on.

Since installing 15.1db4 I have not gotten another OTA update. I installed the downloaded db5 thinking that might straighten things out but it hasn't. Also AI not loading (stuck on preparing since db4).
Any suggestions?

For AI stuck in preparing status, try changing Siri Voice to something else, wait for it to download, change it back to what you had originally, then reboot.

I've tried all the suggest solutions and nothing has worked. It's stuck in a weird limbo.

AI immediately turned on and activated for me on my Mac but my iPhone was stuck in preparing and wouldn't go until I did a hard reboot.

Check that in Software Update, it's still set to macOS Sequoia Developer Beta. Siri Language should be set to English (United States) - Maybe try changing the language to something else and back? Try a hard shutdown by holding the power button until the machine turns off, then turn it back on.

The only other thing I can think of is to take the painful path and log out of iCloud and back in.

Check, check, check.
I’ve even done the log out of iCloud solution without any success.

The only thing I can think of is I have a corrupted install. I thought reloading the ipsw would solve it but it didn’t.

I don't think that's it.

Do you have any VPN running or NextDNS/PiHole on your network? Private Relay or any custom DNS?

No custom DNS or VPN. I am running Private Relay. I’ll turn that off and retry and report back.

Turning off private relay didn’t fix anything.
Last ideas, have you tried rebooting your router and disable Firewall completely in Settings->Network->Firewall?

Other than these, I'm out of ideas except to wait for the next beta release or if it magically fixes itself.

I just updated to beta 6. 15.1(24B5070a) and I've run into a bunch of issues. Safari won't load any webpages, I had to go back to Chrome. Chrome works intermittently and then will randomly freeze (spinning pinwheel) Screenshots work for the first few minutes after a restart and then will stop. Outlook won't display the contents of the emails. Apple Music app works intermittently, Microsoft Teams works until I want to do a video call. All of these things worked just fine in the last beta. Super frustrating. :/

I found the problem. Go to find /library/audio/plug-ins/hal/, delete all the folders. It causes by the audio drivers.

I've noticed folks using Reader view for website out there, where the Summary and Table of Contents are generated on the right side of the page. I can't figure out how to enable this.. anyone have an idea?

Has anyone seen the Summary or Table of Contents work on a website, off to the right side, in Reader mode for Safari? I've seen examples of it online..
