I think it’s a bit too dark and the dead trees on the left make it look sad. The picture would look better had they turned a bit to the left.

I never understood all the attention for OS wallpapers. Like...who cares? You can just pick one from the internet anyway? (Except for the special MacOS moving ones)

Is it a real or render? I genuinely have no clue. Trees looks like render, but the background flora sometimes looks real. Any corridorcrew specialist to analyse it?

Apple has really nice ones, though I never really gave them much though before the moving ones they have now. This is a whole other level of smoothness going from wallpaper to screen saver and back to wallpaper again. And as far as I know no one else is doing this, so new additions to the already impressive library is great! I have been on an underwater kick for a while with jelly fish. Love moving away from my office for a bit and coming back to the screen saver on, it is a bit of quick mental relaxation just taking in the sights for a moment.

I miss the time when the default background was a pictur. Then they added the ones that changed several times a day, then the ones that move… bring back an amazing picture like this, let it adapt to the time of day and stop fiddling around with desktop backgrounds, please…

Hopefully we'll get some more aerials too. Aerials are one of the most underrated features of MacOS Sonoma. Personally I would love to see the flying toasters make a comeback.

Someone may have already said this but X Screensaver has that and all the other classic Unix screensavers.

Google is not allowing anyone to download the images/videos from Mr Machintosh’s website now. 😕
