System Settings > Window Tiling > enable the above.

Thank you, my problem is: I can't switch the sliders from left/ Grey To right/ Blue. Click, double click, click drag, right click … nope

Good idea, but nope. Whatever I try, it fails. Quite disappointing. Apple hardware is getting better and better - Mac software is not.

is there a way to disable every time I drag a window to the top it shows that desktop/new desktop thing, it never happened on BetterTouchTool, ive disabled Mission Control and it still does it each time I drag window to the top, Mission Control keeps coming up when I drag it up

Thank you, much appreciated. I fully understood what should happen, as shown in this video.
Just that it doesn't work, none of it.

Anyone have the right combination of keyboard shortcut configuration for the Stream Deck?. I have been playing with the hot-keys, but have not been able to get into work. It works on the keyboard itself, but not on the stream deck.

I also have a weird problem. The tiling works, but I can't change the keyboard shortcuts for Quarters and Order…

(screenshot is in Dutch but you get the gist)

Guys, how is this Feature called?

I wish, next to the tiling and snapping, there would be the option to easily resize the connected windows by "dragging".
Unfortunately this Feature is only available in Fullscreen, what I am actually never using, as it is a bit overcomplicated in my opinion.

Does anyone know, if this is probably planned?

Your mind will be blown: Said handle does also appear between tiled windows, without using fullscreen mode. You just have to move the mouse pointer near the middle „seam“ between tiled windows. Try it, you‘re welcome! 😉

I can confirm this works also on the tile window.

Haha, thank you both!
I disabled the gap between the tiles… if it's disabled nothing will appear.

I was not aware of that :D

After attaching an external monitor it does not work in all apps any more. I have to restart the app to get the tiling shortcuts work again. This is also the case for Apple's own apps like Safari. Anyone else?
I guess, I will switch back to Magnet.app

That’s not correct. I have also disabled the gap. The handle does appear regardless.

I'm afraid Apple decided to provide Window Tiling for users with multiple displays only for the ones who activate ‘Displays have separate Spaces’

So back to BetterSnapTool https://folivora.ai/bettersnaptool
Thank You Andreas Hegenberg
I was afraid Apple rendered your app useless.

There are still quite a few glitches and bugs IMO with the native Sequoia tiling implementation. Does anyone still use 3rd party tools like Rectangle?

@learjet Ja, on my Studio M3, I installed BetterSnapTool again, that I used before. I still used Mosaic (the original, from Lightpillar, not the confusingly identically named app from rcopstein, although it might work fine, never tried it) on another Mac, a 2008 Mac Pro running Mojave, but that app has not been maintained for years and it's become useless under Sequoia.

However, now also using a large 4K monitor on a MacBook Pro, I make do with the Sequoia left/right and quarter screen options. It's easier on the laptop because it has the fn/globe key within reach. On my desktop I use an old, but comfortable, pre-globe-key 🌐 Mac keyboard.
