macOS Sequoia Supports HDMI Passthrough for Dolby Atmos Content

I want to see my Mac Studio play Plex with lossless audio through an amp so it shows DTS-MA, Atmos etc without turning on my Windows media server running Plex!

Sad but not surprising. This probably will not change until Apple starts offering lossless audio for their movies.

And not only with lossless audio, but also only for Macs with Apple chips, they want to sell new equipment for something what not is wanted, we have already Apple TV

Yeah until then, they'll still be morons and not give people what they want! Obviously dont want pay other companies to use their tech.... surprised they haven't made their own audio BS codecs and shoved down everyones throats lol

I'll keep using my HP Microsever with Win 11 server running Plex to play all my ripped Blurays with loss less audio.
