anyone has this issue? i have on my MacBook Pro.
Which model/year/spec MacBook Pro?
MacBook Pro Retina 15", Early 2013.
Could be early signs of graphics failure. It's a documented issue on your model and Apple have a repair program for it.
Do you have an Apple Store local to you?
No, these are the software glitches. I had them on my rMBP 13 Late 2012. I gave up on beta 3 and returned back to El Capitan. I wonder that they still haven't managed to fix those issues. Sierra is the smallest update ever to macOS and yet it's even more buggy than El Capitan was in its beta period...
Yes I'm seeing some glitches on my MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012.
I did state it could be graphics failure. Always difficult to give a definitive diagnosis when running beta software. As their model has documented issues, it's certainly worth checking.
Historically, a few people's Macs only exhibited graphics issues after updating the OS to latest stable versions, but the problems weren't software related and were hardware instead. Sometimes it just takes a newer OS to make the problems obvious. Other times, it could just be software issues.
If there's an Apple Store local to them, why not check? See if it passes Apple's tests. Otherwise they can always restore from TM backup if it's annoying them enough.
That said, you're more than likely right as a few other people have been having graphics glitches on unrelated models. You can just never be too careful with the Retina graphics lemons, is all I'm saying
I'm seeing some too (rMBP 15" mid-2012), I believe these are software issues as my mainboard has just been replaced due to graphics issues.
oh. thanks for your info. looking for Beta 6 or GM.
Some glitches, but only while running Safari. Didn't happen since beta 5 though..
I've only seen it too whilst Safari is running, I see lines appearing/disappearing on the desktop but the Safari window is not affected. I'll try to get a video the next time it happens.
Exactly. And it happened randomly while browsing, sometimes the glitches where affected by mouse movement.
But since the newest they are gone... I'll keep and eye on it.
Graphics issues on mine running the beta, MBPR, 2013, 13 inch. Reverted to El Capitan.

Latest beta seems to have resolved the issue for me, although it's early days!
Yep, for me too. Looks like they managed to find the source of the glitch.
Same here, not had a graphic issue since Beta 6 installed.
check it with Windows, so you can figure out if its hardware or software issue, reading the comments, I think its low graphic memory
I've been having this issue on my Retina MacBook 2016 since Public Beta 1, still there on Public Beta 6. Most commonly, there's a diagonal jagged line in my Dock (in dark mode), which changes position or sometimes temporarily disappears when windows are moved around or when I swipe between desktop and full screen apps. This line is always there and in the same general area. The line does not go over app icons, just the Dock background itself. Safari being open or closed doesn't appear to have any effect on it.
Exactly the same happening here. Have anyone found a solution meanwhile?
It was gone with a later beta... You still have the problem?
Yes, it started after the late update Mac OS Sierra 10.12.1 (16B2555).
I'm having the same problem also wit the same update..it glitches and i see text on my desktop blurred but videos and full screen games (LoL) are normal.. i have a mid 2015 MacBook pro retina with dedicated graphics.. every time it switches to the dedicated graphics i get the glitch.. after a while the screen will flicker and it will return to normal...
I get the glitches mostly in Safari, though I have seen it in other programs such as VMWare as well. It got so bad that there were grey/blue lines on my screen and I couldnt see or do anything, so I was forced to reboot. My issue doesnt sound like a glitch though.. it's happened a few times lately... Late 2015 15" rMBP.
